Trust & Safety

AssetShift is built for serious bulk buying and liquidation. We keep deals on-platform with verification, escrow protection, and monitored communication.

Verified counterparties

Sellers complete ID verification before they can sell or use platform services. Buyers also verify before offers/checkout to keep fraud low and accountability high.

Start verification

Escrow-protected payments

Funds are held securely until delivery is confirmed or a dispute is resolved. No off-platform payments are allowed.

How escrow works

Monitored chat (no contact info)

Buyers and sellers chat inside AssetShift only. AI blocks phone numbers, emails, WhatsApp/social handles, and attempts to move the deal offline.

Communication rules

Fair disputes & audit trail

If something goes wrong, keep it inside the platform. Messages and order events are logged so we can review evidence (photos, BOL, packing lists) and resolve issues quickly.

Buyer protection

Documentation & compliance

Deal records, invoices, and supporting docs (when provided) stay linked to the transaction so teams can reconcile and audit later.

Invoices

Freight coordination

After payment, choose customer-arranged pickup or have AssetShift coordinate freight. Quotes, scheduling, and delivery confirmation stay in one workflow.

When pickup is allowed

To protect both sides, pickup, delivery coordination, and address sharing happen after escrow payment.

  • Path A: Customer-arranged pickup (you send your own carrier/vehicle)
  • Path B: AssetShift-arranged transportation (we coordinate a carrier)
  • Delivery confirmation is captured inside AssetShift before funds are released.

Quick answers

Can buyers and sellers share phone numbers / emails?
No. Our chat blocks contact info and off-platform payment attempts.
What if the goods don’t match the description?
Use the order dispute flow so we can review evidence while funds remain protected.
Do I need to verify before I can sell?
Yes — sellers must be fully verified before selling or using AssetShift services.
